The 70s. The Annabelle doll, an object that causes the appearance of spirits, has been locked in a glass case by the marriage of paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga). When her daughter Judy (Mckenna Grace) is left in the care of the nanny Mary Ellen (Madison Iseman), the latter’s friend, Daniela (Katie Sarife), prompted by curiosity, opens the glass case and releases the spirits again through Annabelle. 

A movie within the “Warren File” universe. This film, the third with the role of the Annabelle doll, takes place in the early 70s, between the events of “The Warren File” and “The Warren File: The Enfield Case. “

The film, full of cliches within the subgenre of diabolical doll and predictable in terms of the actions of adolescents with little or no caution, is balanced and creates intrigue in its beginning without precipitation, correctly managing space and time to configure the suspense.The pity is that the story, whose action takes place in twenty-four hours, practically does not exist (although they try it with bullying, traumas due to family loss…) and it does not cause terror beyond the noise fright with sudden appearances altering the main characters that matter a fig.

Nor does it take advantage of the context of the 70s, aside from putting a Badfinger vinyl or broadcasting programs and series on television, to provide kitsch aspects that elevate the mediocrity of its plot.
